In the Kitaab of “al Imaarah”, al-Imam Muslim narrated a Hadith from Abu Huraira radhiyallahu ‘anhu, “the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “verily, the first group of people will be judged on Judgement Day are three. Among them was a man who died in the quest for martyrdom. He was brought in and shown him the pleasures that if he would get from charity, so he knows it. God asks, ‘What have you done to get it?’. Abu Malik al Harith ibn Ashim al-Ash’ari reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said : “Cleanliness is half of faith and al-HamduliLlah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) and al-HamduliLlah (Praise be to Allah) fill upwhat is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one’s faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur’an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.”

Siwak or toothbrushing

Siwak, refers to the twigs of trees used to clean the teeth and gum, and included in it is the brushing action with a specific branch or with other similar tools, so the food, tartar and the dental plaque could be removed, so that the mouth clean and the reward would be obtained. Benefits of using siwak could be mentioned briefly : for the cleanliness, health, eliminate the bad breath, so that the mouth becomes fresh, to get the reward and follow the Messenger of Allaah shalallahu ‘alayhi wasallam.

From Abu Hurayrah may Allaah blessing him, the Prophet shallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam said, “if not because of the burdensome for my people, of course I ordered them to do siwak(toothbrushing) every time before Shalah(prayer).”

From Jabir ibn Abdullah radhiallaahu ‘anhu said, “The Apostle shalallaahu ‘alayhi wasallaam came out towards us, then said, ‘Just out of me my love angel Jibreel, he told me, ‘O Muhammad, By The One who sent you with truth. Allaah has a devotee Among many devotees that do worship to Him as long as 500 years, he lived on a mountaintop in the middle of the sea. It is 30 cubits width and 30 cubits in length. The sea distance from each cardinal direction throughout 4000 farsakh. Allaah created a finger-sized of spring water at the top of the mountain, the spring water is very fresh, its flowing little by little and flow down to the foothills.
Allaah also grown a pomegranate tree, which bear a ripe pomegranate fruit every night to be eaten during the day afterwards. In the evening before the sunset, the devotee went downstairs the hills to take wudhu’ (ritual ablution) and also to pick a pomegranate to be eaten. Then he prayed. Meaning of Sentences :

“Muqollibal quluub” means, the almighty to flips the hearts from faith becomes faithless, or otherwise. (Fath ul-Bari 18/468)
