Each of us spend a day on a highway Shawwal ‘Eid Iedul. O Brother, Sister,

Laylat al-Qadr has a great virtue, because it was witness of the revealed of Al-Qur’an Al-Karim, which guided the people who hold it to the path of glory and lifted them into degrees of noble and eternal. Muslims who follow the sunnah’s Apostle set no specific signs nor the arrows stuck to commemorate this night, but they compete to wake up at night with the full faith and expecting reward from Allah. Here, O my brothers and sisters -Muslims, Qur’aniya’s verses and hadiths Nabawiyah that are saheeh describes these nights.

<1>. The virtue of Laylat al-Qadr

Suffice the high position of Laylat al-Qadr to know that night is better than a thousand months, Allah has said. Which means :

“Verily We have sent it down on the Night of Power, And what will make thee know what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months, The angels and the sprit descend therein by the command of their Lord with His decrees for every affair, It is all peace till the rising of the dawn,”

One day, Abu Abdillah al-Qalanisi on his journey by boat. Suddenly, a high wind shaking the boat. All of the passengers said a prayer with Husu’ (in all seriousness) for the sake of their safety and said a nazar (a promise). The passengers said to Abu Abdillah, “Each of us have pledged to Allah and said a nazar for our safety. Then you should also said a nazar and swear to Allah.” He replied, “I’m the one who doesn’t care about the world, so I don’t need a nazar.”

But they forced me. Then I swore, “By Allah, if Allah the Almighty saves me from the disaster that happen to me, I won’t eat an elephant’s meat.” They asked, “Is it a permissible nazar? is there anyone who wanna eat an elephant’s meat.?” I replied, “That’s my choice, may Allah give a reward to my tongue which had spoken those words.” Indeed, not long after that the ship was broken. Fasting has a very close relations with the jihaad. Fasting provides a solid preparation for it. Fasting is always accompanied Jihaad on its way of life continually until Allah bequeath the earth and all of its content. Thus, fasting will always remain there until the day of Judgement as a phase of preparation for jihaad. Jihaad itself will always remain there until the day of Judgement as an ‘Amaliah (application) phase for fasting.

Muslims are the people who like fasting and also a mujahid (warrior) who is able to benefit from the fasting educational institution as a means education for jihaad. Abu Malik al Harith ibn Ashim al-Ash’ari reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said : “Cleanliness is half of faith and al-HamduliLlah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) and al-HamduliLlah (Praise be to Allah) fill upwhat is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one’s faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur’an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.”

Siwak or toothbrushing

Siwak, refers to the twigs of trees used to clean the teeth and gum, and included in it is the brushing action with a specific branch or with other similar tools, so the food, tartar and the dental plaque could be removed, so that the mouth clean and the reward would be obtained. Benefits of using siwak could be mentioned briefly : for the cleanliness, health, eliminate the bad breath, so that the mouth becomes fresh, to get the reward and follow the Messenger of Allaah shalallahu ‘alayhi wasallam.

From Abu Hurayrah may Allaah blessing him, the Prophet shallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam said, “if not because of the burdensome for my people, of course I ordered them to do siwak(toothbrushing) every time before Shalah(prayer).”

What Great Sin is?


“Can we give an appraisal on the sins that have never existed before as a great sins?”


It is undoubtful that there are two kinds of sins, great sins and small sins.

إِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُمْ مُدْخَلًا كَرِيمًا

If you avoid the great sins which you are forbidden to do, We shall expiate from you your (small) sins, and admit you to a Noble Entrance (Paradise).
